The certificate has the chromatogram on it. I can look at the baseline, look at the integration marks and decide for myself whether the number is fairly drawn. Most of my folder asks me to take the number on trust instead. Documentation practice rather than a single purity figure is the substance of this.
PolyPeptide Group (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd.
Solid-phase peptide synthesis house trading as PPG (polypeptidegroup.net), based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, established 2006. Janoshik-tested and verified by Medutest, PeptideMeter and VendorInvestigate; catalogues 350+ research compounds, each shipped with a lot-specific certificate of analysis.
Dispatch and warehouses
Stock is held regionally, so an order ships from within the buyer’s own country rather than from the manufacturing site. Current lines and lead times are published by the supplier itself: order direct at polypeptidegroup.net →

Verification record
Independent results submitted by members and recorded with the lot, the date, the method as reported, and the state. 4 of 4 verified, across 4 independent services, first recorded 24 Jun 2025.

- 2026-05-28, Janoshik: Declared and independent figures inside method repeatability. The certificate reproduces the trace, and the integration on it matches the reported area to the first decimal.
- 2025-07-08, VendorInvestigate: Every certificate reviewed carried the trace, the gradient table, the column chemistry, the wavelength and a signed, dated release. Two archived lots were reproduced from records on request.
Documentation quality
The distinguishing feature of these certificates is that the chromatogram is on them. The trace the purity figure was integrated from is reproduced beside the figure, with the gradient table, the column chemistry and the detection wavelength printed alongside, so a reader can check the number against the picture rather than take it on trust. Peptide content is reported separately from chromatographic purity, water by Karl Fischer, and the related-substances table is itemised with retention times assigned. A signed, dated release closes each document.
Maintainers' assessment
Verified across all four independent services, with declared and independent figures agreeing inside method repeatability on every submission on file. What is unusual in this record is evidential rather than numerical: the certificates carry the chromatogram, which converts the purity figure from an assertion into something a reader can audit — a baseline that has drifted, an integration that has been drawn generously, a shoulder on the principal peak are all visible on the trace and invisible in the number. Against that, the catalogue runs past 350 lines and the four records below cover four of them; the lines nobody here has submitted remain unmeasured, and the trace on a certificate is only as good as the sample it was run on. Nothing adverse is on record.
What to ask for
The documents above are what members were sent. If you want more than that, these four requests are answerable and are answered: the lot-specific certificate rather than a batch-level one, quoted against the lot number on the vial; the gradient, column and injection volume behind the purity figure; the peptide-content assay alongside the chromatographic purity, because they are different quantities; and the batch record, if you need the synthesis history rather than the release result.
Ask before you order rather than after. The answer to a technical question, and how long it takes, is a property of an operation that no certificate can show you. The catalogue, the current lead times and the contact route are on the supplier's own site: visit polypeptidegroup.net →
Community reviews

Gradient table and column chemistry are printed beside the trace, so the determination is reproducible by anyone with the same column. Scoped to the lots named. Not generalised beyond them.
Submitted material from lot PPG-2603-0261 to Janoshik. Result 98.2% against a declared 98.3%, which is inside the repeatability of the method rather than a disagreement with it. Marking nine rather than ten only because I hold three lots and want more before I call it settled.
Asked whether the principal peak had a shoulder on it. Rather than an assurance I was sent the expanded region of the trace. That is the answer a laboratory gives; the other kind is the answer a sales desk gives.
Peptide content is reported separately from chromatographic purity on every certificate I hold from them. Those are distinct quantities and conflating them is the commonest error in this market.
Ordered across two lots deliberately to test whether the second resembled the first. A tenth of a point apart, and the two traces overlay. I will update this post if a later lot changes the picture.
First order was deliberately small. Documentation complete, transit as quoted, PeptideMeter returned 97.8%. Subsequent orders have not been small. Nothing in the consignment was unsecured.
Water content is reported by Karl Fischer with the method named, which matters more on a lyophilised line than the argument about the third decimal place of purity. Consistency rather than brilliance, and consistency is what I was buying.
Catalogue runs past 350 lines and I have bought five. What I can say is scoped to those five. Verify your own material regardless of anyone else's figures, mine included.
Requested a supplementary certificate for a lot released 19 months ago. It was produced from their records, trace included, which tells you the records exist and that they are kept whole.
The related-substances table is itemised by individual impurity with retention times assigned, rather than reported as a single total. Cross-referenced against the trace it agrees. One member, one record, offered as such.
Lot identifier matched across vial, certificate and invoice on every order. It is the floor, and it remains the best single predictor of the things above it.
Reconstitution of the semaglutide 5 mg produced a clear solution on contact — no haze, no particulate, no extended agitation. Consistent with a correctly executed lyophilisation. Research use only; these are not approved for human administration.
Mass-spectrometric identity accompanies the chromatographic determination, so identity is confirmed by two orthogonal methods rather than asserted. The Medutest report is on file and matches the figures they published.
Custom synthesis quoted with the schedule on the face of the quotation and completed 2 days inside it, at the purity named in the specification. Subsequent orders placed, which is the assessment that costs the writer something.
They gave notice of a 4-day dispatch delay before the quoted window elapsed rather than after. Recording it because the sequence is the part that matters. The delay itself is why this is a nine.
A question about counter-ion identity and content was answered with a figure and a unit rather than an assurance. Technical response inside four hours on a working day.
Weighed 4 units from a single consignment against declared fill. All within two per cent. Fill uniformity gets a fraction of the discussion purity gets and is the harder problem.
Cross-checked one lot with Janoshik and VendorInvestigate independently. Agreement to a tenth of a point, and both agree with the declared figure. Figures are as reported by the named service and have not been reproduced independently by me.
Repeat determination on the same line at 11 months returned 98.0%, against 98.1% originally. No drift visible in this sample. Nothing here is medical advice and I am not qualified to give any.
Every unit in the consignment carried a single lot identifier, so the intra-consignment comparison I intended was the comparison I made. No complaint arises from the orders described.
Cold chain held to arrival on day 7, with the pack still solid, in a month when that cannot be assumed. Tracking was accurate at every hop including the handover to the domestic carrier.
The declared figure was not adjusted upward between the certificate and the commercial documentation. Small, and specifically worth checking for. Invoice, vial and certificate agree on the lot without exception.
9 orders across 14 months. No substitution, no reformulation, no line becoming unavailable after payment. The paperwork has read the same way on every one of them, trace included.
Where PPG sells
PolyPeptide Group (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd. sells from its own storefront. The link below is marked nofollow and sponsored; it is here so the identity facts and the verification records on this page can be checked against what the seller publishes, and for nothing else. This site is paid nothing for it.
Visit PPG at polypeptidegroup.net →
Whatever a storefront claims, the lot on the vial has to match the lot on the certificate. That check is yours and nobody else can do it for you.
